Late UK entry into consumer fibre networks highlighted by FTTH Council

The UK has been late to the fibre broadband game, not helped by a regulatory regime that stopped Openreach deploying FTTC/B until 2009. The latest FTTH Council also reveal the high number of FTTB deployments, showing that full fibre is perhaps not as common as some believe around the world.
