Getting to Net Zero

Addressing climate change is the defining issue of the 21st century. Time is fast running out if we are to keep warming within any sort of tolerable limit. The UN COP26 conference is coming up in Glasgow in a few weeks, and the UK government is responding by ramping up it's own activities around moving the UK closer to a net carbon zero position. As an example, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction now feature as a factor in government procurement.

At the same time, pressure from investors, through ESG policies and metrics, is coming to bear on companies. In short, developing and implementing effective strategies that will get your organisation to a net zero position (or better) is now imperative, and is rapidly climbing the priority list for CEOs and boards.

That said there are increasingly clear business benefits to investing and acting on this issue. Going green can be good for your brand and your bottom line.

This event provide an opportunity to hear from some of the people leading from the front in our sector, from the investment community, and from government. Learn about what others are doing and hear about some practical steps that you can take on this crucial issue.
