As the industry continues to grow at pace, the challenges of recruiting and retaining skilled staff, and building the necessary skills that our sector needs, are of key importance. In response to this INCA has established this Special Interest Group in order to provide a focal point for INCA member organisations to collaborate and develop strategies for mutual benefit.
The group is chaired by Kerry Young, who is the Chief People Officer for Allpoints Fibre. The Group meets (online currently) on a roughly monthly basis. To be kept informed please join the Group.
The Group is working with a Skills Competency Framework that was proposed at the 2021 INCA Conference by Adrian Head.
Three work streams are under development:
- Recruitment and Attraction
- Diversity
- Training and Upskilling
Representatives of INCA Member organisations can join the Labour & Skills Group using this simple sign-up form (you need to be logged in to the site to access the form).
